Tammi Perkins
Tammi Perkins, Owner and Director of Little Sprouts Childcare Center, brings over 30 years of experience in early childhood education. Her career encompasses roles as a nanny, lead teacher, and owner of a family childcare business. Tammi cherishes her position, viewing it as a privilege to be part of children's and families' lives. She focuses on fostering a nurturing environment at Little Sprouts, drawing on invaluable lessons from her professional experience and personal journey raising three neurodivergent children.
Tammi has earned over 40 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, showing her commitment to lifelong learning. Her love for education is evident from the many articles and books on her office shelves. This dedication enhances the learning environment at Little Sprouts and aims to inspire her team and the children in her care. Additionally, Tammi has a special interest in community involvement, which she wants to incorporate into the program, believing it enriches children's learning and cultivates a sense of belonging and responsibility.

Emily Perkins
Emily Perkins is the Co-Owner and Curriculum Director at Little Sprouts Childcare Center. With 12 years of experience in education, including two years teaching in Japan, she brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to early childhood education. Emily has dedicated 10 years specifically to early childhood education, serving in various roles including nanny, lead teacher for infants and toddlers, and an integral part of a family childcare center.
Emily holds a degree in English and has a deep-seated passion for child developmental psychology, which drives her educational philosophy. Her unique obsession with research allows her to stay at the forefront of best practices in early childhood education. As someone who is autistic, this passion is further fueled, enabling her to create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere. At Little Sprouts, Emily is committed to fostering a nurturing environment that supports holistic growth for children and their families, using her keen insights to enhance their experiences.

Amy Engedal
Amy Engedal is the dedicated Assistant Director of Little Sprouts Childcare Center, bringing experience and a nurturing spirit to her role. With a background in social work, Amy's passion for early childhood development began in high school. She gained expertise as a Lead Teacher in an infant room for three years, understanding infants' unique needs and joys. Amy also worked at the Wisconsin Early Autism Project for three years, enhancing her empathy and understanding of children's development.
Outside her professional life, Amy is a proud mother to a nearly four-year-old daughter, who has been one of her greatest teachers. Her personal experiences as a mother enrich her perspective, complementing her education and career. Amy is committed to improving childcare centers, advocating for environments that foster creativity, safety, and a love of learning. She seeks new ways to keep Little Sprouts Childcare Center a great place for kids and families.
